9 June 2010 - Dentists' Benchmarking Survey

Booth Ainsworth, an associate member of NASDA, would like to announce the release of the 2008-2009 Dental Benchmarking Survey.

NASDA produces an annual report summarising the results of a sample from their dental clients.  This year, the report was produced from a population of 500 practices and 500 associates.

The findings this year indicate toward a setback in the financial year of 08/09, with the average net profit in the dental sector dropping by 4.3% below those from 07/08.

The results published also cover:

• Average net profit and gross earnings per associate
• Gross profits of Private, NHS and mixed practices
• Employee costs and expenses
• Average fee income and profits of dentists
