3 June 2010 - Company Cars: Advisory Fuel Rates From 1 June 2010

HM Revenue & Customs have announced changes in advisory fuel rates, as of 1st June 2010.

These rates apply to all journeys on or after 1 June, until further notice.  This allows them to reflect fuel prices more quickly.  For one month from the date of change, employers may use either the previous or the new current rates, as they so choose.

Employers may therefore make or require supplementary payments if they wish, but are under no official obligation to do either.
