Peter Williams

Peter has been a corporate tax specialist for 22 years, having first worked for what was then Touche Ross (now part of Deloittes). He spent many years at PKF's Manchester office before joining Booth Ainsworth over five years a go.

Peter advises on a full range of business tax and one off situations, including business transaction tax clearances, EMI share options, e.t.c.

In his spare time Peter is involved in many community related activities and is Middleton Scouts Water Activity Leader. He enjoys whitewater kayaking and skiing.

Paul McKay

Paul joined Booth Ainsworth in September 2007 to head up the Corporate and Business Tax Team.

He started his career with the then Inland Revenue, leaving to join Ernst and Young, were he became a senior manager.

Since then he has worked for other 'Big 4' and boutique tax planning practices.

Paul adds to the Booth Ainsworth technical knowledge base and takes pride in being able to devise and implement commercially workable tax planning strategies. He also enjoys using his Inland Revenue experience to good effect and has dealt with many large Inland Revenue investigations.

In his spare time he enjoys offshore sailing, walking and clay pigeon shooting.
